About Us

Garuda International Cup

Garuda International Cup (GIC) is Indonesia’s premier international youth football tournament. First held in 2015 in Bandung, GIC was created for young players aged 10, 12, and 17, and has since become a platform for the best youth talent from around the world to grow and compete.

In 2025, GIC introduced a new age category—U-15—expanding opportunities for young athletes aged 15 and under. The new age category was well received and made the tournament even more exciting. In 2026 GIC also add a new category which is U-15 Girls, we aim to provide young female players with greater opportunities to develop and feel how exciting and competitive an international competition is. GIC also adding a new venue to accommodate the growing number of participants. The tournament will now be held at two locations: ASIOP Training Ground in Sentul, and AYO Arena in Sentul.

To date, over 72 teams from 12 countries have competed in GIC, playing more than 180 matches on FIFA-standard synthetic turf fields. In 2026, the number of participating countries has grown to 15: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Pakistan, Qatar, and Australia.

GIC is more than just a football tournament—it’s a celebration. Each year, we host exciting entertainment programs including a carnival, live music, DJ performances, games, a bazaar, food festivals, and even a dance competition. These events are designed to create a festive and memorable experience for all participants and spectators.

The mission of GIC is to provide young footballers with the highest level of competition and international exposure, as top teams from across the globe come together. Our ultimate goal is to become Asia’s leading international youth football tournament.

The season is coming—let’s have fun!
