Garuda International Cup (GIC) is Indonesia’s premier international youth football tournament. First held in 2015 in Bandung, GIC was created for young players aged 10, 12, and 17, and has since become a platform for the best youth talent from around the world to grow and compete.

In 2025, GIC introduces a new age category—U-15—expanding opportunities for young athletes aged 15 and under. This year, GIC is also adding a new venue to accommodate the growing number of participants. The tournament will now be held at two locations: ASIOP Stadium in Central Jakarta, and ASIOP Training Ground in Sentul.

To date, over 64 teams from 10 countries have competed in GIC, playing more than 160 matches on FIFA-standard synthetic turf fields. In 2025, the number of participating countries has grown to 13: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, India, and Pakistan.

GIC is more than just a football tournament—it’s a celebration. Each year, we host exciting entertainment programs including a carnival, live music, DJ performances, games, a bazaar, food festivals, and even a dance competition. These events are designed to create a festive and memorable experience for all participants and spectators.

The mission of GIC is to provide young footballers with the highest level of competition and international exposure, as top teams from across the globe come together. Our ultimate goal is to become Asia’s leading international youth football tournament.
